Anthropic has confidentially submitted its IPO prospectus, valuing the company at $965 billion with annual revenue exceeding $47 billion.

According to Persistive Beating monitoring, artificial intelligence giant Anthropic has announced that it has confidentially submitted a draft registration statement on Form S-1 for an initial public offering (IPO) to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This filing will allow Anthropic to choose to go public after the SEC completes its review. The specific number of shares to be offered and the price range for the IPO have not yet been determined, and the timing of the listing will depend on various factors such as market conditions.

This IPO application follows closely on the heels of Anthropic's just-completed Series H funding round at the end of May 2026. In this massive $65 billion financing, Anthropic's post-money valuation has reached an astonishing $965 billion, making it the world's most highly valued private AI startup, surpassing its competitor OpenAI. This funding round was led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital, and attracted top global strategic and financial investors including Amazon, Google, and Temasek from Singapore.

As Anthropic prepares to enter the public market, early investors are also seeing significant returns. Bloomberg revealed that tech giant Salesforce's stake in Anthropic is now valued at around $5 billion. Salesforce has been investing since early 2023, with a total investment of about $50 million, and the exposure of this stake's value directly caused a 10% single-day increase in Salesforce's stock price. Meanwhile, at the time of the announcement of the confidential S-1 submission, Anthropic's annualized revenue run rate had officially surpassed $47 billion, demonstrating its strong commercialization capability.
