Trump: U.S. to Intervene with "War Department" If No Agreement is Reached Between the U.S. and Iran

BlockBeats News, May 31. On the evening of May 30 local time, in an interview program broadcast on Fox News, U.S. President Trump said that the U.S. and Iran are close to reaching a "very good agreement." Trump also said in the interview that we will get a "better agreement," which should happen faster.

However, Trump also stated that if an agreement cannot be reached, he will ask the "Department of War" (referring to the U.S. Department of Defense) to intervene. Trump said that if he doesn't get what he wants, "we will end it in another way." Trump also mentioned that through signing the agreement, we can ensure the navigation of the Strait of Hormuz and ensure that Iran does not have nuclear weapons, among other things. Trump emphasized that he is not in a rush when it comes to the agreement with Iran. "If you are in a hurry, you will not be able to reach a good agreement." (CCTV News)
