WSJ: 'Freedom Plan' Not Restarted, US Military Just 'Quietly' Guiding Ships

BlockBeats News, May 26th, The Wall Street Journal issued a correction to a previous report, stating that a spokesperson for the U.S. Central Command mentioned that the U.S. has not resumed the "Freedom Plan," and that the reports regarding the plan's restart were inaccurate.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that a Greek-owned supertanker carrying 2 million barrels of crude oil transited this waterway along the Omani coast under the guidance of the U.S. Navy. This escort operation was part of a new phase of the "Freedom Plan."
