BlockBeats News, May 25th, Vitalik Buterin posted on the X platform discussing his personal suggestions for the Ethereum Foundation (EF): The EF will transition to a smaller-scale, longer-term, and more clearly positioned organization in the future, no longer serving as the "center" of the Ethereum ecosystem, but rather existing as a node with specific responsibilities. At the same time, Vitalik believes that Ethereum should not simply pursue the ultimate TPS and low latency, but should establish differentiated advantages in dimensions such as formal verification, stronger consensus security, and reduced reliance on intermediaries (CROPS); these goals are not in conflict with scalability, L2, and lower slot time.
Vitalik also made it clear that "The EF is choosing to use remaining resources to pursue long-term sustainability rather than breadth (yes, this means the EF will sell less ETH)," and called ETH the most financially valuable product of Ethereum.
