「Trader Loracle」 Increases HYPE Short Position by 329,000 Tokens Intraday, Continues to DCA Above $58

BlockBeats News, May 21st, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor, the address monitoring service, following a brief surge in the HYPE price to above $58, in the past hour, the largest HYPE short seller, known as "Trader Loracle," once again added to their short position, increasing it by about 61,000 tokens. As of the time of writing, sell orders are still being placed above $58. Since last night, this address has accumulated over 329,000 additional short positions, with a total value of approximately $19.2 million.

Currently, this address is shorting 1.78 million HYPE tokens with 5x leverage. Despite the increase in the HYPE price, the position size has been raised passively to $104 million, with the average entry price rising from $42.55 to $44.82. The liquidation price is set at $69, resulting in an unrealized loss of $24.2 million (-116%).

This short position was initially opened on April 20th when the HYPE price was around $41. Over the past week, the trader's account has experienced total withdrawals of over $25.8 million, reducing the remaining margin to $9 million.
