Spot Bitcoin ETF Continues to Attract Funds, Bitcoin Poised to Reenter Global Top Ten Assets

BlockBeats News, May 16th. In April this year, the spot Bitcoin ETF saw a net inflow of approximately $2.135 billion, driving institutional funds to continue flowing into the digital asset market. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust has net assets close to $64 billion, with a Strategy holding of 815,061 BTC, valued at around $64 billion.

As of May 13th, the total market capitalization of Bitcoin is around $1.611 trillion, up about 13% from April, showing signs of recovery after a first-quarter 18% pullback.

Analysts believe that the ETF inflows and corporate treasury allocations are reshaping Bitcoin's asset pricing logic, driving it back to the top ten global asset market cap rankings. If institutional funds continue at the current pace, Bitcoin is expected to re-enter the top ten global asset rankings in the second quarter of 2026 (currently ranked thirteenth).
