Solana P-Token upgrade is now live on the mainnet, enabling transaction throughput to increase by up to 20x

BlockBeats News, May 13th, Solana's P-Token upgrade is now live on the mainnet, bringing a transaction efficiency improvement of up to 20 times.

Reportedly, the P-Token is a revamped version of the SPL Token program optimized for Solana. After the upgrade, the computation cost of token instructions has been reduced by around 96%, releasing an additional 12-13% block space to the network without changing the block limit.
