CME Group to Launch Bitcoin Volatility Futures

BlockBeats News, May 10th, the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) plans to launch Bitcoin Volatility Futures on June 1st, pending regulatory approval, expanding the cryptocurrency offerings of the U.S.-based derivatives exchange.

These contracts will reportedly be based on the CME CF Bitcoin Volatility Index instead of the Bitcoin price, aiming to reflect the expected market volatility over the next four weeks.
