BlockBeats News, May 10th, according to sources, Alibaba is preparing to announce its artificial intelligence platform Qwen's integration plan with the e-commerce platform Taobao. This move aims to drive shopping through conversation rather than keyword search.
It is reported that the integration will allow consumers to browse, compare, and purchase products through dialogue with the Qwen app's AI assistant, without the need to manually browse through product listings. The Qwen app is expected to access the full catalog of over 4 billion items on Taobao and Tmall, leveraging a "skill library" that can manage logistics and after-sales services. It will also provide shopping recommendations based on users' order history and shopping preferences.
Additionally, within the Taobao platform, Alibaba will launch an AI shopping assistant powered by Qwen, featuring tools such as virtual try-on and 30-day price tracking. (BlockBeats)
