BlockBeats News, May 4th. According to CCTV International News, Ali Nikzad, Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Parliament, emphasized during an interview on May 2nd local time along the coast of the Strait of Hormuz that "the Strait of Hormuz will not return to its pre-war state, and Iran will absolutely not retreat from the Strait of Hormuz."

Nikzad stated that the parliament will approve a "Strait of Hormuz Management Law," which includes: permanently banning Israeli vessels from passing through this key waterway; requiring vessels from "hostile countries" to pay a "war reparations fee" to obtain passage permits; and allowing other vessels to pass only with Iranian authorization.
