White House Dinner Shooter's Background Revealed: Donated to Trump Opponent as a Nonpartisan, Transformed from Engineering Prodigy to Lone Wolf

BlockBeats News, April 26th – The background information of White House Correspondents' Association Dinner shooter Cole Thomas Allen has been further disclosed. He is currently 31 years old, from Torrance, California, with no previous criminal record and not under the monitoring of any US law enforcement agencies. He has been preliminarily identified as a "lone wolf" attacker. Allen graduated from the California Institute of Technology in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and obtained a master's degree in Computer Science from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2025. On his LinkedIn profile, he describes himself as "a mechanical engineer and computer scientist by training, an indie game developer by experience, and a teacher by calling." He worked as a part-time teacher at the college entrance exam coaching institution C2 Education for many years and was named "Teacher of the Month" at the Torrance branch of the institution in December 2024. He also developed an indie game called "Bohrdom," which was released on the Steam platform in 2018.

As a professional in the education and technology field, Allen participated in activities such as the Caltech Christian Fellowship and Nerf Club. Prior to the 2024 US presidential election, he donated small amounts as a teacher to Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and registered to vote as an "independent." His LinkedIn profile indicates that Allen interned at NASA in 2014, where he was involved in developing an intelligent model for planetary mapping.
