Trump Announces Extension of Iran Sanctions Relief

BlockBeats News, April 22, local time. On the afternoon of April 21, President Trump of the United States posted on his personal social media platform, stating that in response to a request from the Chief of Army Staff and Prime Minister of Pakistan, the U.S. will postpone the military strike on Iran, extend the ceasefire deadline, and require the Iranian side to propose a unified negotiation plan first.

During this period, the U.S. military will continue to enforce a naval blockade on Iran while maintaining military readiness. He stated that the ceasefire will remain in effect until Iran submits a proposal and completes the negotiation, "regardless of the outcome."
