Analyst: The **Hormuz** Operating Environment Remains Highly Controlled, Shipping Companies Need to First Probe Security

BlockBeats News, April 17th, Analyst Anthony stated that shipping companies need to conduct a passage assessment before hastily passing through the Strait of Hormuz, as they must evaluate the actual safety of passage and still need to coordinate with Iranian authorities.

Harvard Patel, Captain of UAE's Sharaf Shipping Company, stated: "Announcing the full opening of the Strait of Hormuz during the ceasefire is a positive signal, but the market will maintain a cautiously optimistic attitude rather than full confidence."

"While this move should help restore some vessel traffic and alleviate immediate pressure on energy flows, the operational environment remains highly controlled and sensitive. It has not yet returned to normal trading conditions. The real test will be consistency—if safe passage can be maintained in the coming days without incidents, confidence will gradually be restored."
