According to Datanalysis Beating monitoring, Salesforce announced Headless 360 at the TDX Developer Conference, opening up the core capabilities of the entire platform as APIs, MCP tools, and CLI commands. This allows AI agents to access enterprise data, workflows, and business logic directly without accessing the Salesforce back end. The initial set of capabilities available today exceeds 100, including over 60 MCP tools and over 30 pre-configured development skills that can integrate with external programming agents such as Claude Code and Cursor.
This is more like an architectural shift than a typical product update. Salesforce has shifted the primary entry point for enterprise software from its own web interface to entry points like Slack, ChatGPT, and Claude, while focusing on maintaining the underlying enterprise context, permissions, and processes.
Headless 360 has also launched the Experience Layer, rendering the same set of interactive components on different interfaces such as Slack, mobile, ChatGPT, and others. Additionally, governance tools such as the Testing Center, Custom Scoring Evals, and A/B Testing have been added. Salesforce also stated that the DevOps Center MCP can streamline the build process, which previously involved switching between four tools, into a single experience, potentially reducing the development cycle by up to 40%.
