Or possibly influenced by the "US-Iran Consider Extending Ceasefire Agreement" news, the Nasdaq saw its gains expand to 1%.

BlockBeats News, April 15th, according to Bitget market data, possibly due to the "US and Iran Considering Extending Ceasefire Agreement by Two Weeks," the Nasdaq's gain expanded to 1%, the S&P rose by 0.4%, and the Dow fell by over 0.3%.

According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, the US and Iran are considering extending the ceasefire agreement, which is due to expire next Tuesday, by two weeks to allow more time to advance peace agreement negotiations. The mediators are trying to arrange technical talks to address the most contentious issues, including reopening the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's uranium enrichment. If successful, these talks could pave the way for the next round of negotiations between senior officials of both countries.

However, other US officials familiar with the situation have stated that it is currently not certain that the ceasefire will be extended, and the US has not agreed to the arrangement. Other sources have also stated that neither the US nor Iran wish to escalate the conflict.
