The CLARITY Act is not included in the agenda for the U.S. Senate next week, adding another twist to the fate of the bill

BlockBeats News, April 15th, according to the Senate Banking Committee website, the U.S. Senate's agenda next week (April 21st) only has one nomination hearing scheduled, and there is no planned discussion/amendment meeting on digital assets or the CLARITY Act that the market is anticipating.

Additionally, according to Politico, Senator Thom Tillis is set to release the final draft this week, which is the last puzzle piece needed before the committee holds a markup. The bill still needs to align with the Senate Agriculture Committee, pass a full Senate vote with a 60-vote threshold (requiring Democratic support), and then coordinate with the House.

Some analysts point out that if no markup meeting is scheduled between April 20th and 25th, the midterm election politics could completely kill the bill, as bipartisan cooperation would cease to exist.
