「NVIDIA Challenger」 CBRS Surges 20% Above IPO Price, Bottom Fishers in the Break Price Zone Once Saw a Peak Gain of 380%

BlockBeats News, July 22nd, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, during the U.S. stock market session, NVIDIA challenger Cerebras (CBRS) surged to a high of $242, expanding its gain to 23%. The catalyst today covered Cerebras's strategic partnership with CrowdStrike, where the latter will use Cerebras's inference infrastructure to power the Falcon AI Detection and Response model, but the contract amount was not disclosed.


CBRS thus regained stability at the $185 IPO price. On its listing day on May 14th, it soared to a high of $386.3 and closed at $311; after its first earnings report, with full-year core gross margin guidance below expectations, the stock closed below its IPO price for the first time on June 25th and hit a listing low of $160.81 on June 26th.


Based on today's high, CBRS has rebounded by 49.2% from its historical low and is now 29.7% above the IPO price; however, it is still 37.9% below the all-time high of $386.34 on the listing day, currently in the process of recovering from the breach and has not returned to the initial high.


The wallet address starting with Smart Money 0xc262 traded CBRS for the first time on July 18th, buying 1036.35 shares in a long position through 217 transactions during a brief second bottoming period, with an average price of $173.6, totaling about $179,000. Its cost is 6.1% lower than the IPO price.


When CBRS on Hyperliquid rose to around $239.64 during the session, the 10x leveraged long position's ROI briefly reached 380%. As of the time of writing, the position is worth about $237,700, with an unrealized profit of about $57,700, ROI dropping to 320.7%, and a liquidation price of $81.9.
