BlockBeats News, April 15th, Boundless and XRPL Commons announced that they have successfully completed the first native deployment of a ZK validator on XRPL, with a RISC-V-based validator now running directly on the chain, making XRPL the first public chain to feature programmable privacy as a ledger-native capability with built-in compliance controls.
It is reported that the two parties spent six months completing the above integration and jointly designed Smart Escrow transaction type with programmable release conditions, developer toolkits, and testnet environments are now ready. Smart Escrow is expected to launch in the second quarter of 2026, requiring a valid ZK proof before funds can be transferred; Smart Vault will follow, introducing KYC pre-settlement checks and sanctions screening for each transaction, while supporting limited disclosure to regulatory authorities.
Odelia Torteman, Head of Enterprise Adoption at XRPL Commons, said, "XRPL has always been designed for institutional finance. By introducing Boundless, we are turning confidential and compliant execution capability into XRPL's native infrastructure."
The Boundless team has accumulated over 5 years of experience in the privacy infrastructure field, with its proof network currently processing about 4 quadrillion compute cycles per day and system availability reaching 99.9%.
