Pakistani Official: Pakistan Calls for Extension of US-Iran Ceasefire by 45 Days

BlockBeats News, April 14th, it was learned on April 14th local time that a Pakistani diplomatic source said that Pakistan has called for the U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement to be extended by 45 days.

The source said that the current ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran is set to expire on April 22nd. Since the last round of negotiations, the Pakistani side has been in contact with multiple parties to build a broad alliance, with the aim of either extending the ceasefire deadline or resuming technical-level contacts to pave the way for a second round of political talks. Mediators have been assisting the U.S. and Iran in exchanging information on outstanding issues, hoping to persuade both sides to extend the ceasefire by at least 45 days. (CCTV News)
