OpenClaw Founder Responds to Anthropic Blacklist: Had Previously Invited Them to Join OpenClaw Non-Profit Organization but Did Not Receive a Response

BlockBeats News, April 4th: In response to Anthropic's ban on OpenClaw, OpenClaw founder Peter Steinberger stated that despite joining OpenAI, OpenClaw operates independently. "We even invited Anthropologie and over a dozen other companies to join our nonprofit organization. They did not respond, but we have successfully attracted almost all other companies to join."

In news this morning, AI company Anthropic announced that effective 3:00 PM ET on April 4th, access to third-party tools, including the open-source project OpenClaw, via Claude subscription service will be prohibited. The new regulation requires that related features can only be accessed through additional packages or API usage billed on a pay-as-you-go basis.
