Two sources close to Iranian officials said that Tehran believes that diplomatic negotiations will take time. These sources stated that Iran is skeptical of the US reaching an agreement and Tehran sees the high energy prices as providing favorable conditions for Iran.
The two sources said that Iran is also skeptical of the US and Israel's shared timeline for ending the conflict. The Israel Defense Forces had previously stated that the fighting is expected to continue until Passover (the first week of early April).
