GoPlus: Claude Chrome Extension versions prior to 1.0.41 contain a critical vulnerability and should be upgraded promptly

BlockBeats News, March 27th, according to GoPlus citing the Koi report, a high-risk keyword injection vulnerability exists in the Claude Chrome plugin under Anthropic. All plugins below version 1.0.41 are affected. GoPlus recommends that users immediately update the Claude extension to version 1.0.41 or above and remain vigilant against phishing links.

GoPlus stated that attackers can hijack users' Claude plugins through malicious web pages, issue malicious Prompts, surreptitiously take over the browser session, and carry out data theft.
