WSJ: Trump to Appoint Tech Titans Such as Zuckerberg, Elon Musk to Tech Advisory Board, to Weigh In on AI Policy

BlockBeats News, March 25th, according to WSJ report, U.S. President Trump plans to appoint some business giants to join a technology council, including Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang. These members will provide input on AI policy and other topics.


According to White House officials, the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) will be co-chaired by U.S. White House AI and cryptocurrency advisor Sax and technology advisor Michael Kratsios.


Officials said Trump plans to appoint the first batch of 13 members from the industry on Wednesday, including Google co-founder Sergey Brin. According to an executive order, the council may eventually include 24 members.
