BlockBeats News, March 25th, Interactive Brokers announced that it has enabled clients to directly transfer existing cryptocurrency assets (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.) from an external wallet or platform to their affiliated cryptocurrency account without the need to sell the assets beforehand.
This feature allows users to centrally manage cryptocurrency assets alongside traditional assets such as stocks, options, futures, forex, and bonds on the same platform, achieving a more efficient cross-market allocation.
In terms of fees, Interactive Brokers provides cryptocurrency trading services through Paxos or Zero Hash, with a fee of 0.12%-0.18% of the transaction amount, a minimum of $1.75 per transaction, and no additional spread or markup, significantly lower than the fees of some cryptocurrency platforms, which can be as high as about 2%.
This feature is currently available to eligible clients of Interactive Brokers LLC and Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited, with specific support varying by region.
