Pump.fun will only allow the token creator to change the fee receiving wallet once

BlockBeats News, March 25th, Pump.fun tightened the fee setting for token creators, allowing each token deployer to only change the fee receiving wallet once after going live, after which this configuration will be permanently locked. This update aims to prevent creators from arbitrarily changing the fee recipient after the token gains popularity, thus manipulating revenue distribution.

This adjustment is a continuation of Pump.fun's ongoing optimization of the creator fee model this year. In January, it acknowledged that the original model was overly biased towards token deployers rather than traders, and subsequently introduced measures such as multi-wallet allocation and post-launch control; in February, it introduced "Cashback Coins," requiring creators to decide whether the fee goes to themselves or is given back to traders at deployment, locking in the overall model.
