BlockBeats news, October 16: Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh stated that the Federal Reserve's Task Force on Productivity and Employment will hold an on-site hearing in the San Francisco Bay Area on November 16, focusing on topics such as the impact of AI on the economy.
Warsh announced this arrangement during the IMF annual meetings held in Bangkok. He said the task force will conduct in-depth research on the impact of artificial intelligence on economic activity and the job market.
In June of this year, Warsh established five task forces composed of external experts to separately study key areas in monetary policy formulation. He previously stated that these task forces are expected to submit policy recommendations to the Federal Reserve around the end of this year. Warsh did not comment on monetary policy or the U.S. economic outlook this time.
