Powell: No rate cut if inflation doesn't pick up

BlockBeats News, March 19, Federal Reserve Chairman Powell: There are some who are inclined to reduce the number of rate cuts. The median of the interest rate path projection remains unchanged, but the number of those inclined to fewer rate cuts has significantly increased. Forecast suggests progress on inflation, but not as expected. If there is no progress on inflation, there will be no rate cuts. We cannot overlook the issue of energy inflation.
