BlockBeats News, March 17th, Kalshi announced the launch of a $1 billion "Perfect Prediction" challenge, where if someone successfully predicts the outcomes of all 63 games of the 2026 NCAA Basketball Tournament, they will win a $1 billion prize. Considering no one has ever been able to achieve this prediction (odds of 1 in 120 billion), the highest-scoring prediction will receive a guaranteed $1 million prize, and an additional $1 million will be donated to charity and scholarship programs.
Reportedly, in 2014, Buffett launched a similar challenge offering a $1 billion prize for a perfect prediction of all game results, but no one has won due to the extreme difficulty of the challenge.
