According to 1M AI News, the NVIDIA GTC 2026 conference will open today in San Jose, California, with the event running from March 16 to 19. Approximately 30,000 attendees from 190 countries are expected. This year, the conference has set up an OpenClaw exclusive experience area called "Build-a-Claw" in the GTC Park, where participants can customize and deploy a persistent AI agent on-site under the guidance of NVIDIA engineers.
Participants can name the agent, define its personality, grant tool access, and use it in various scenarios such as calendar management, itinerary planning, fitness recommendations, and programming. There are three runtime environment options: using provided on-site cloud computing power, bringing a DGX Spark or GeForce RTX laptop (ensuring no personal data on the device). DGX Spark is also available for purchase at the on-site NVIDIA Gear Store and Micro Center. The event hours are Monday 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time and Tuesday to Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
NVIDIA has simultaneously released the OpenClaw Playbook, offering a step-by-step guide to running OpenClaw to build a local AI agent on DGX Spark. Jensen Huang will deliver a keynote address today at 11:00 AM (Pacific Time) at the SAP Center, with the keynote session available for free online streaming.
