X Platform Paid Partnership Policy: Cryptocurrency is still classified as Non-Compliant with Paid Partnership Promotion Industry

BlockBeats News, March 1st, according to the latest paid partnership policy of X platform, financial products, services, or opportunities (including loans, investment services, cryptocurrency, buy now pay later services, and other financial-related content) are still categorized as non-compliant with paid partnership promotion.

According to the web archive site, the cryptocurrency industry has been listed in the "Ineligible Industries for Paid Partnership Promotion" list since at least June 2024.

The main changes in the latest policy are: the paid partnership post disclosure requirement has changed from "must write #ad" to "must clearly label Ad or sponsored content"; the reporting channel has changed from "report via email" to "report via form"; and a new "may be exempted" clause has been added.
