Federal Reserve's Kashkari: Expects one more rate hike this year, and another next year.

BlockBeats news, October 1: 2026 FOMC voter and Minneapolis Fed President Kashkari said: "Inflation is still too high, currently around 3%, and the latest data has not changed that. Despite shocks, the economy remains strong. The longer the economy stays strong, the more I question how restrictive monetary policy is. My projection is one more rate hike this year and another in 2027. I hope the Fed can reduce inflation through moderate action."
