Market News: More Explosions Heard in Dubai

Earlier on March 1st local time, around 1:30 am, the northeast side of the Dubai Sail Hotel was attacked and caught fire. At the time of the attack, many hotel guests were fast asleep and were awakened by a loud explosion, accompanied by a strong tremor. Guests evacuated through safety exits, the hotel lobby was filled with thick smoke, and the fire has now been extinguished.

An Iranian drone had previously attacked Dubai International Airport this morning, and the airport is currently undergoing evacuation procedures. Flights at the airport have been canceled, and Dubai airspace is closed.
