2026-02-24 02:55

BlockBeats News, February 24th, related to the BHE Exchange cryptocurrency exchange fraud case, the Chinese suspect known as "Mr. Duan" was recently arrested in Uttaradit Province, Thailand. BHE Exchange had previously issued a token called DDO, promising investors a 6% annual return and a 20-fold increase in value within ten years, attracting about 20,000 investors to participate. Later, the platform suddenly closed, and investors were unable to withdraw their funds, resulting in a loss of approximately $128 million (about 900 million RMB).

The suspect fled China in 2024 and settled in Thailand, frequently changing residences to evade investigation. Currently, the Thai authorities have revoked his residency permit and will deport him back to China for further investigation and trial.
