CZ: Developers should not be overly concerned with short-term price action, but token projects should continue to update and engage with the community

2026-02-12 15:22

BlockBeats News, February 12th, Binance founder CZ stated in an AMA:

I think for builders in the industry, you should simply ignore the market, whether it's up or down. In the long run, the market will grow, Bitcoin will perform well, major cryptocurrencies will perform well, and I believe today most mainstream public chains will also perform well.

As a builder, you shouldn't worry about the daily price. You should build apps that people actually use. And people use an app not based on your token's price, but based on the specific functionality your product provides, whether it's a wallet, trading, a stablecoin for payments, some tokenized assets, or other applications. Anything that you can build that people will use in the long term.

But one thing, if you have indeed issued a token, you should strive to maintain consistent product updates so that your token holders have a clear understanding of your progress and roadmap. That way everyone can understand what you are doing, better assess the risks and opportunities of holding the token. At the same time, communicate very frequently with the community.
