Epstein provided $3 million to Brock Pierce to invest in Coinbase, but it is unknown whether the final transaction was completed. In a subsequent reply to Epstein's email, Brock Pierce mentioned that he wired $15 million to invest in Coinbase and would receive $15 million in equity and $5 million in cash back (if the transaction is eventually completed).
