Robinhood's crypto trading platform Talos, valued at $1.5 billion

This round added $45 million in new funding, with investors including Sony Innovation Fund, IMC, QCP, and Karatage, while existing shareholders such as a16z crypto, BNY, Fidelity, among others, continued to participate.

Talos provides end-to-end crypto trading infrastructure to hundreds of global institutional clients, with a combined asset under management of around $21 trillion. This financing round highlights institutional demand for crypto market infrastructure and reflects Robinhood's accelerated foray into blockchain and crypto-native finance, including the development of its own Arbitrum ecosystem blockchain, tokenized stock trading, and diversified crypto products.
