Analysis: Bitcoin 'HODLers' Have Accumulated an Additional 75,000 BTC This Month

BlockBeats News, December 12, CryptoQuant analyst DarkFrost stated that the Bitcoin "HODLer" group of addresses accumulated over 75,000 bitcoins between December 1 and December 10. Just from December 9 to December 10, they accumulated 40,000 bitcoins.

These addresses currently hold approximately 315,000 bitcoins, and this trend is still rising. These investors continue to accumulate, seemingly unaffected by the current market conditions or momentum.

Furthermore, DarkFrost summarized the characteristics of "HODLer" addresses as follows:

No outflows; the lowest amount of bitcoin purchased in the most recent transaction; at least two purchase events (funds inflow); the address must hold a minimum bitcoin total balance; must have been active at least once in the past 7 years; known exchange and miner addresses have been excluded; no smart contracts.
