Bloomberg: PNC Teams Up with Coinbase to Launch Bitcoin Trading Service for High Net Worth Clients

BlockBeats News, December 9th, according to Bloomberg, high-net-worth clients of PNC Financial Services Group Inc. can now directly trade Bitcoin through their investment accounts, achieving the initial goal set by the Pittsburgh-based bank when it announced a partnership with Coinbase Global Inc. in July.

This move is the latest example of a traditional financial institution offering digital asset trading services on its own platform—a space currently dominated mainly by cryptocurrency exchanges such as Coinbase. Brett Tejpaul, Head of Coinbase's Institutional Coverage Group, stated that through the collaboration with PNC, Coinbase provides brokerage services and technical integration to support customers in trading Bitcoin in any amount.
