J.P. Morgan: Expects U.S. Stock Market to Experience a Bull Market in 2026

BlockBeats News, December 8th, Morgan Stanley analyst Michael Wilson stated that with the widening of the market's leadership sector, improvements in corporate earnings, and a labor market that is only mildly soft, the U.S. stock market is ready for a bull market rally in 2026.

He expects that the non-essential consumer goods sector and small-cap stocks (both recently upgraded to overweight ratings) will continue to outperform the broader market. This is mainly due to price stabilization, increased commodity demand, upward earnings expectations, and interest rate cuts.

Wilson believes that the Federal Reserve remains a key driver, but he also points out that the earnings trend of the Nasdaq 100 index has strengthened since late October. Against the backdrop of a labor market gradually weakening rather than sharply declining, he believes that the stock market will receive a supportive environment (Bloomberg).
