Stacks announces sBTC Deployment Plan, with Deposit Functionality Expected to Go Live on December 16th

BlockBeats News, November 29, according to official sources, the Bitcoin scaling solution Stacks announced that it will deploy sBTC in two phases, with the first phase of mainnet launching on December 16, 2024, enabling Bitcoin deposits. The second phase is expected to be rolled out 6-8 weeks after the first phase, anticipated in the first quarter of 2025, at which point Bitcoin withdrawal will be enabled.
