Aave: V3 and V4 markets fully unfrozen, contracts unaffected by Binance security incident

BlockBeats news, October 30: Aave posted an update on its handling progress following the Binance incident, stating that all markets on Aave V3 and V4 have now been unfrozen. Previously, Aave froze the markets as a precautionary measure after initial reports of the incident emerged, suspending new deposits and borrowings, while withdrawals and repayments continued normally throughout. Aave emphasized that its contracts were not affected by the incident, and positions remained fully collateralized at all times.

As an ongoing precautionary measure, the loan-to-value (LTV) ratios for USDT, USDC, USDT0, POL, WAVAX, sAVAX, XAUT, PAXG, and OP will temporarily remain at 0, meaning these assets cannot currently serve as collateral to support new borrowings.
