BlockBeats news, on September 30, Uniswap Labs stated that in response to the fragmentation problem of intent-based systems, it has worked with AcrossProtocol to propose the ERC-7683 standard, which aims to solve this problem through a universal filling network.
The working principle of ERC-7683 includes users signing cross-chain orders, user funds being held in custody in the settlement contract, fillers competing to fill orders on the target chain, and the winning fillers executing the operation and releasing funds. Establishing an intent system standard will improve the experience of applications, fillers, and users. Applications can route intents to a wider network, the entry threshold for fillers is lowered, and users can get faster filling and lower gas fees. It is worth noting that anyone can implement ERC-7683.
