Vitalik supports using new image compression mode TiTok for on-chain image storage

BlockBeats news, on June 15, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin introduced a new image compression mode called "Token for Image Tokenizer" (TiTok) on the decentralized social media platform Farcaster, and said "320 bits is basically a hash value. Small enough for every user to be on the chain."

It is reported that TiTok was developed by ByteDance and researchers from the Technical University of Munich, and can compress images into 32 small data blocks (bits) without losing quality. According to the TiTok research paper, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) image compression enables TiTok to compress 256x256 pixel images into "32 discrete markers." (Cointelegraph)

The Underlying Narrative of Ethereum Must Change
From a technical perspective, the Cancun upgrade is going well. Network participation only dropped from 99% to 95%, which is better than any of our previous hard forks.
Our goal is not just to create isolated tools and games, but to comprehensively build a more free and open society and economy.
