Telegram to launch in-app currency Telegram Stars to counter Apple App Store payment restrictions

BlockBeats reported that on May 23, foreign media Rozetked reported that starting from June 12, Telegram will launch a new in-app currency, Telegram Stars. Users can purchase it through Apple and Google, and then use it to pay for digital goods and services within the Telegram bot/applet.
