Ethena's USDe supply exceeds 1.5 billion, and the contract positions opened by the protocol account for 15% of the global ETH positions
According to BlockBeats news, on March 30, according to official news, the supply of USDe, the stable currency issued by Ethena, has exceeded 1.5 billion, and the contract positions opened by this protocol account for 15% of the global ETH contract positions.
BlockBeats previously reported that Ethena will launch an ENA airdrop on April 2. The total amount of this airdrop will be 750 million (accounting for 5% of the total). New currency mining has been launched on Binance at 8:00 today, and BNB and FDUSD are supported for participation. Multiple ENA spot trading pairs will be launched at 16:00 on April 2.
BlockBeats Note: Ethena’s USDe currently relies on collateral stETH and its inherent yield, while taking an ETH short position to balance delta and utilizing perpetual/futures funding rates to maintain the peg and provide yield. To put it simply, while earning ETH staking income, you can open 1x short orders of the same size on CEX to earn funding rates.
