Friday's 'black opening' saw Bitcoin weaken before a modest rebound, as concerns over AI earnings in US stocks resurfaced.

BlockBeats news, October 9: Three U.S. aircraft carriers are expected to converge in the Middle East in the coming weeks, and the Pentagon has drafted plans to strike Iran's missiles, drones, and energy facilities. But Trump said discussions between the U.S. and Iran are still making progress, and he does not plan to launch an attack before the November midterm elections. Iran's president said Iran will not leave the negotiating table.

According to BIT (bit.com) market data, U.S. stocks closed Thursday with the Dow up 0.1%, the S&P 500 down 0.47%, and the Nasdaq down 1.25%. During U.S. trading, reports said OpenAI's annualized revenue was $20 billion lower than previously reported, pressuring tech stocks lower. Nvidia (NVDA.O) fell nearly 3%, SpaceX (SPCX.O), Micron Technology (MU.O), and SK Hynix (SKHY.O) fell more than 4%, and Oracle (ORCL.N) and Intel (INTC.O) fell more than 5%.

According to HTX market data, Bitcoin weakened and then rebounded slightly, now at $81,862, with its 24-hour decline narrowing to 1.81%.
