Metis launches alpha version of decentralized sequencer

BlockBeats news, on March 15, The Block reported that the Ethereum Layer 2 network Metis launched the decentralized sequencer Alpha version. The sequencer node will receive METIS rewards to incentivize the network to participate in block generation and transaction processing. In the first year, all sequencer nodes will have a 20% mining reward rate. The Metis development team stated that this is the first Ethereum Rollup to support a decentralized sequencer.
