Smart Layer founder: Airdrops aim to reward highly active real users and have been made as fair as possible.

On February 24th, Victorzhang.eth, founder of Smart Layer, responded to community inquiries about the airdrop on social media platform BlockBeats. He explained that Smart Layer collected both on-chain and off-chain public data, including behavior on Twitter and Discord, to identify over 60,000 real users who were highly active in the Smart Layer ecosystem. The most active users received 266 to 2833 tokens, while the rest participated in a lottery with a chance to receive 30 to 67 tokens each. In total, 2 million SLN tokens were distributed in the airdrop, worth over $10 million. Smart Layer developed a unique algorithm specifically for this airdrop, and while transparency may be an issue, disclosing it beforehand would be meaningless. Smart Layer also has strict policies internally regarding the airdrop, and any employee found to be participating in it will be immediately dismissed. Currently, Smart Layer has prepared additional rewards for users who hold Smart Cats, Adopted Cats, and Cat Toys. For other community members, Smart Layer apologizes for not being able to provide airdrop allocations to everyone, but they have done their best to be as fair as possible.
