The current mainstream CEX has an approximately 18% price difference between ID spot and contract trading pairs, with negative funding rates.
According to market data on February 7th, there is an approximately 18% price difference between the spot and contract trading pairs for SPACEID (ID) on mainstream CEXs including Binance, OKX, and Bitget.
At the time of writing, the ID spot price on OKX platform is $0.52 while the contract trading pair is priced at $0.44.
According to Coinglass data, the funding rate for ID perpetual contract trading pairs on Binance and Bitget is -3%, while on OKX platform it is -1.5%.
Note from BlockBeats: When the perpetual contract price deviates from the underlying asset price, the trading platform will adjust the funding rate to encourage long or short positions to pay funds in the opposite direction, thereby causing the contract price to return to the underlying asset price. When the market is bearish, the funding rate is usually negative, and this is when short traders pay fees to long traders.
