Joint report reveals that SEC claims Binance has not provided important litigation-related documents.

BlockBeats reported on January 27th that a joint report submitted on January 25th outlined the progress of the lawsuit between the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Binance Holdings Ltd and BAM. The SEC claims that BAM has not provided some documents that it considers crucial to the case. The SEC stated that since BAM submitted its last progress report on December 15, 2023, it has not submitted any further documents. However, BAM believes that the documents it has submitted are not missing. BAM's position is that it intends to complete a final document next week in response to the SEC's request for expedited discovery. The joint progress report also noted that neither Binance nor CZ has submitted any documents since the last progress report. The SEC has contacted Binance regarding the request for discovery, and Binance has responded and agreed to provide a substantive response in the form of a separate letter.
